Today is April 1st, 2013 which means that Youtube.com’s 8 year submission period has finally come to a close. Starting today, youtube’s judges will review all of the entries they’ve received since 2005 and then they will announce their pick for the “best video in the world” in 2023. Youtube has surely been the biggest video contest in history and I’m we’ll be covering the judging process closely over the next 10 years. Check out the video below for the full story:
I could really use a new mp3 player and the $500 stipend would be pretty sweet too. I’ve submitted probably 60 entries to this contest since I joined youtube in 2006 so I think I have a pretty decent shot at winning the grand prize.
